Gather Materials:

Tape together the pattern and cut out the fabric pieces.

Sew the two pieces of collar together on the bottom three sides with a ½” seam allowance, leaving the top open.

Trim the seam allowance close to seam, then flip the collar right side out and press. Repeat for the other side of the collar.

With the wrong sides of fabric facing together, line up the notches of the collar and dress. Then, pin in place and sew with 1/2" seam allowance.

Fun tip: for a finished look you can use a French seam.

Next, trim the seam allowance close to seam if left unfinished. Then press the collar to the right side.

Embroider your desired design onto the dress. Once that's complete, trim away excess stabilizer on the back.
