Request of the Week - Retro Applique Owl Emailing from Holland, Carla sent in a request to say that she and her mother-in-law are big fans of owls. In fact, the term she used to describe them both was "owl crazy" (they each have been collecting owls statues for years and have amassed hundreds of figurines)! Wanting to carry her love of owls into her embroidery hobby, Carla was looking for an owl design that could be sewn onto lightweight fabrics. Loving to make gifts for others, her ideas included an owl quilt for her mother-in-law, and possibly an owl t-shirt for her granddaughter. An adorable applique owl is a great match for both projects!
