Encouragement with Frogs

After a traumatic incident, a security blanket is a wonderful way to provide much-needed comfort. Recognizing an opportunity to give support and care to a friend who was on the road to recovery after a motorcycle accident, Beth created this magnificent frog-themed lap quilt for him. Awash with fabulously complementary blue and green fabrics (including some dancing with frogs!), the quilted pieces beautifully frame quilt squares featuring the Frog Dixieland Band (Redwork), Frog Jazz Band (Redwork), and New Years Frogs (Redwork) designs. For additional sentiment, Beth added a label with the Frog on Lilypad design to the back of the quilt as encouragement. The quilt was a triumph for both parties, as Beth says, "He loved the quilt, and I loved making it!" What a thoughtful and charming project, Beth - keep up the great work!
