For all the years that I can remember, my mother had a
New Year's tradition. In the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve
she'd make her way to the local Hallmark store and buy all of the
greeting cards she'd need for the upcoming year.
She counted birthdays, predicted births and weddings, scooped up a few
handfuls of Easter and Valentine's Day cards, and had grand plans of
sending out every card, on time. Then she'd tuck the cards away in a
safe place and promptly forget where she had put them. But she had the
best of intentions.
This week we carry on mom's tradition by getting ready for all the
holidays, from a Happy New Year to a glorious 4th of July. These new
designs are great for tee-shirts and sweatshirts, holiday and special
occasion towel sets, and special framed pieces to commemorate milestones
Enjoy the new designs, and Happy Everything!
Special Request of the Week
Embroidery Library is always inspired by your design
suggestions, and we thank you for sending
us tons of
terrific ideas, which we regularly incorporate into the weekly design
themes. As a way
to expand on designs for specific quests, this space is dedicated to
the "Request of the Week."
Here is this week's request:
MJ wrote in to say that her son has a hamster and she was
searching high and low
for a hamster design. This cute little guy will be a fun
addition to hamster decor and
design, whether it be as part of a photo album/scrapbook, shirts
that say "I Love My
Hamster," or a sign on the front door that reads "Warning!
Hamster on the Loose!"
Enjoy the hamster, MJ!
