NEW THIS WEEK - October 4th, 2006:
Decor Galore for the Bath
The Greeks may have invented ritual bathing, and the Romans may have added opulence to the structures that contained the baths, but today's modern homes go them one better, with bathrooms that exude personality!
Whether we have a spacious "owner's suite" bath or a cozy "water closet," it's one of the easiest rooms to redecorate...and the most fun! And, because everyone dreams of the luxury of relaxing in a private space of one's own, we can also make wonderful gift baskets by combining our embroidery talents, imagination, and shopping skills!
This week's designs offer a wonderful mix of design sets and ideas for the bath that include a little something for everyone's tastes -- from Victorian to French Boutique to "Mah-velous Miss Personalities." There's even a Rustic Country Outhouse scene!
Each set includes designs sized for bath towels or framed art and coordinating designs for hand towels washcloths, and more. And, you'll find the designs will also be handy for embellishing cosmetic bags, T-shirts, tote bags...the list is endless.
Two free projects! Add delicate lace insets to towels and washcloths, or make a cozy and colorful decorative bath basket out of a washcloth.
Give your friends a morale boost with a thoughtful gift that says you know what they like best -- those moments of luxurious relaxation, soaking in a tub. Make up a "pamper" gift basket with embroidered towels and add their favorite bath oils or salts, lotion, scented candles, music CD or book, and maybe a little wine.
Pamper yourself -- then make a list of everyone who needs a little TLC, and enjoy sewing these designs.
