While it is difficult to see summer go, Fall is definitely a time to celebrate and a season that engages all of the senses!  Gaze at the stunning colors of the leaves, inhale the crisp smelling air and aroma of spice-filled pumpkin pie, and taste the sweet-tart flavor of caramel apples. Mmm.....

This week rejoice in the beauty and wonders of autumn with new embroidery designs. Charming pot holders (made right in the hoop!) are darling to look at, fun to make, and functional too! Made with quilted cotton and Insul-Bright lining, these heat-resistant delights add a touch of cozy to home decor.

Design Request of the Week - Layered Lace Leaves

 Pam, an embroiderer from Mississippi, was searching high and low for freestanding
lace leaves to use for her Fall and Winter wardrobe. Here's what Pam has to say:

"I have made several lovely pins from your layered lace designs and was wishing recently for
something for fall and winter. I am a High School teacher and I love to sew. I often make simple
skirts and tops to wear to work. The layered lace flowers and butterflies make great pins. I can
match them to the skirts and have a nifty outfit. I also have made many of them for my friends.
They make great 'happies' and neat ways to remember someone's thoughtfulness. I will surely
do the same with the leaves."
