Collegiate Crafty Cut (Applique) Alphabet

Hip hip, applique! Crafty cut applique letters are not only fast additions to shirts, towels, and bags, but they add interesting depth and dimension, too. Choose a non-fraying fabric, like wool felt, for best results.

Applique collegiate letters are available in split and unsplit forms. Use the split letters to stitch across a placket! Only $1 each, or buy the pack for only $19.97! For single letters, click on the A, B, or C below and scroll through the department, selecting the letters that you need.

Keep an eye out for the "split" versions of the applique letters. Use these to stitch across a placket. Here's a tip: if the word or name that you want to stitch has an even number of letters, then you won't need to work with the split versions. If your word or name has an odd number of letters, then you'll need one split letter. Here's an example (right) that demonstrates this idea.

The word "craft" has an odd number of letters, so Kenny used the split A design. The other letters are not split. The word "diva" has an even number of letters, so no split design was necessary.
