Dog Portraits

Instantly recognizable by its spotted coat, the Dalmatian has a fascinating history. Originally the breed was used to pull carriages. Today, they're known as "fire house" dogs. This breed gets along very well with other animals, especially horses. When firefighters used horse-drawn wagons, Dalmatians would run ahead of the horses to clear the streets. This design captures the intense personality of the breed, while playfully and artfully representing the classic spots.
