You will rarely see a spider monkey sitting on the ground. The spider monkey has a prehensile tail - able to wrap, seize, and hold - which comes in quite handy. The monkey can hang from tree branches and pluck what he needs from below.

Gorillas have very unique tracks. A gorilla walks on all four legs, but his fingers are tucked under his hands. As he walks, he places his feet slightly behind his hand track. The top four ovals of a track compose the "hand" track, and the bottom four ovals, pad and thumb are the "rear" track.

Gibbons are the smallest members of the ape family. They love sugary fruits, like figs, and live in the lush rainforests of Asia. This design features a Gibbon family frolicking in some trees.

The Emperor Tamarin is easily recognizable by its long, wispy moustache. This species was named after the German Emperor, Franz Joseph, who also had a long, wispy moustache. The Emperor Tamarin is native to Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia.

Baboons are the largest members of the monkey family. Their fur is long and silky, protecting them from the hot African sun. Baboons are highly organized: they travel in large groups of up to 200 members. The large groups are divided into bands, and the bands are further divided into clans.
