The Moorish Idol is recognizable by its yellow and black markings. It's long snout is used to eat algae and tiny sponges that are hidden in cracks of rocks and reefs. This fish prefers the warm, tropical waters of the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and throughout most of Australia's coasts. (To sew just the fish, skip the 'water' and 'coral' color changes.)

Clown fish are small, striped fish that live among poisonous anemone. The anemone's tentacles contain poison that kill all fish, except the Clown fish. The fish prefer the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and Australia's Great Barrier Reef. This colorful fish became famous when it appeared in Disney's film, Finding Nemo.

The Zebra Cichlid, native to Lake Malawi in Africa, is a very aggressive fish. One owner says that the species "backs down from no other fish."

The official name of the Angelfish, Pterophyllum scalare, is derived from two Greek words that mean 'winged leaf like a flight of stairs.' This name refers to the fish's elaborate dorsal fin. The Tiger Barb hails from the Sumatra island in Indonesia. It is recognizable by the sunny coloring and black stripes. The coloring blends well with the brown and yellow stems of weeds on the seafloor, protecting the fish from any enemies. (To sew just the fish, skip the 'water' and 'plants' color changes.)

Puffer Fish might very well be the most unusual looking fish in the ocean. When alarmed, or in danger, the Puffer Fish will 'puff up' its leathery body, and spikes appear. The fish is able to inflate its body by taking big gulps of air at the water's surface. At a sushi bar, this fish is known as fugu. Given the amounts of poison in the fish's body, only a highly-trained, licensed sushi chef may prepare fugu, and only the bravest of souls dare eat it.

The small rivers of South America feature large groups of an unusual fish: Neon Tetra. The rainforests that cover these rivers let in very little sunlight, and the fish that live in the rivers are used to swimming in dark waters. If a ray of sunlight happens to touch the water, the fish in the beam glow like a neon sign - thus the name, Neon Tetra.

The Clown Loach hails from Borneo and Sumatra, and like to live in large groups. The fish enjoys being in caves or crevices as a form of protection when it sleeps.
