Take a tour around the world - with flowers! Inspired by the arts, crafts, and culture of places all around the globe, this week's new designs bring international flair and fashion to your embroidery projects.

The worldly bouquet collection includes styles inspired by Scandinavian rosemaling, Russian khokhloma, Chinese brushstroke painting, Pennsylvania Dutch art, and much more. They're just right for adding bright color and early spring blossoms to pillow covers, tote bags, quilts, and towels.

From the rural valleys of Norway to your embroidery machine! The time-honored Scandinavian art of Rosemaling, or "flower painting," features floral motifs in bright, gentle colors, accented by bold flourishes and delicate scrolls. On the right, a Blue Willow vase is inspired by the china pattern England imported from China during the late 18th century, in use now for over 200 years. Very beautiful and very old, Talavera pottery is used in Mexico in everything from plates and vases to sinks and bird baths. Make pillow shams and tote bags dazzle with a bouquet inspired by this ancient craft. On the right, add East Indian flavor to your stitching with festive paisley petals. Paisley patterns originated in India and Iran, but its western name comes from the town of Paisley, Scotland, a center for textiles where paisley designs were produced.

Sew a new spring look with Suzani, a type of embroidered textile made in Kazakhstan and other central Asian countries. The word "suzani" comes from the Persian word for needle. Blooming on the right is a bouquet filled with the traditional elements and soft colors of Bavarian folk art. So pretty on quilts and in framed embroidery!
