New designs this
week are perfect for teaching little
ones (and us older ones, too) the
stories of
the Bible. Each story will be all the more
memorable when accompanied by
colorful imagery and tactile
teaching aids. Introduce
spirituality to children with
darling designs from the Sunday
Stitchin' series!
The parables of
Jesus come to life with
energetic depictions of each
story and its location in the
Bible. The nine lively designs,
plus title blocks, are perfect
for creating vibrant
wall-hangings and banners for
Sunday School rooms, quilts, and more!
Sweet lines
from popular children's hymns,
such as 'They are precious in
His sight,' are combined with
adorable animals to create
designs that are a wonderful
match for children's bedroom and
nursery decor, garments, and
framed art.
And, 20 finger
puppets (one for each finger,
and each toe!) provide hours of
entertainment while children
play "Noah's Ark." Store them in
a charming ark-shaped carrying
case, with rainbow handle. Sail
down the page for more new
designs! |

The Parables of Jesus
Jesus' parables are memorable stories
found in the first three gospels of the New
Testament in the Bible - Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
Each tale provides a lesson that compares a
situation to spiritual parallels. The simple
narratives provide wonderful examples of faith,
kindness, trust, and forgiveness, and are a great
introduction of religion to little ones. Use these
nine colorful designs, each depicting a parable of
Jesus, to engage children by adding them to
wall-hangings, framed art, quilts, blankets, pillows
and more! |
When a shepherd lost one sheep, he would leave the
whole herd to find it. In the parable of the Lost
Sheep, Jesus likens the lost sheep to someone who
has strayed spiritually. There's great rejoicing
when the one lost sheep is found.

rewards, like acceptance into the Kingdom of Heaven.

who finds a treasure in a field, and sells all that
he has to buy that field.

When a man inquires of Jesus the definition of
'neighbor' as used in the commandments, Jesus tells the
parable of The Good Samaritan. When a traveling man
is robbed, beaten, and left for dead, both a passing
priest and Levite did not offer any help. Only a
Samaritan assisted the helpless man, and in turn,
was labeled a 'neighbor'.
