The Design Is Not Stitching Correctly

Occasionally we hear from stitchers that are having trouble with a design -- and we are eager to work with folks to identify the source of the problem, and offer advice and solutions.

Although it's not common that stitchers will have a problem with a design, the most frequent concern is "poor registration," also known as shifting, gapping, misalignment, and sections of designs not stitching where they should be stitching. And, 99.9% of the time, that problem is caused by using either tear-away stabilizer or water-soluble stabilizer, when cutaway stabilizer is best.

If you're experiencing poor registration, shifting, gapping, misalignment, and sections of designs not stitching where they should be stitching, AND if you're using tear-away or water-soluble stabilizer, then refer to these items on the HELP page:

**Shifting & Gapping
**Matching Fabric to the Correct Stabilizer
**Fabrics 101 Articles

Try the design with cutaway stabilizer, and see if that produces different results.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, and for all other concerns,
please send an email to stitch@emblibrary.com with:

**Your order number
**The name of the design or pack
**The make and model of embroidery machine that you use
**The type of fabric and stabilizer that you are using (tear-away, cutaway, or water-
   soluble)
**A detailed description of the problem.

Please, please include all of the above information Thanks in advance!

We will review the design and the information that you send. If we find that the design has a problem, we will correct it and send you a new file. If the design has no problems, we'll work with you and suggest different tools or techniques.
