Help! I'm getting a note that the site isn't secure.
The information that you send through our website is encrypted and sent to our server with 128-bit encryption technology. Your private information is VERY secure.
The message that you saw about the site not being secure referred to a specific page, not the website. Basically, our website is a mixture of secure and nonsecure pages. The secure pages are those that contain your private information, such as the sign in page, registration page, order history, and credit card entry page. Only you can see the secure pages.
The nonsecure pages hold information that anyone can see. For example, the nonsecure pages include the pages where we display the designs, the Help page, the Sale page, etc.
When you leave a secure page and go to a nonsecure page, your browser sees that you are going to a nonsecure page, and provides a warning message, alerting you to the fact that the information that you might submit on the following page is not secured. But that is okay, because the information that you just submitted was encrypted, and secured.
We take security very seriously at the Embroidery Library, and we strive to offer our customers a safe and convenient shopping experience. We invest a lot of time, energy, and technology into making sure that your personal and private information is safe and secure. If you have any questions about this, please write us at stitch@emblibrary.com.
