About Us

Get to Know Embroidery Library!

Thank you for visiting! Embroidery Library sells embroidery designs for use in embroidery machines. Everything that we sell is instantly downloadable from our secure website. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can shop, download, and stitch anytime you like! This page will show you how to order designs, as well as highlight some fantastic features of our company and website.

Here is how you can place an order:

Find a design that you like by browsing the categories, or using the search box. When you find a design, note the size, stitch count, and price. Check the size and stitch count that your machine can accommodate to ensure that your machine can stitch the design.

Select the format -- that's the "language" that your machine speaks.
If you don't know the format that your machine uses, check your user's manual, or the list on the HELP page.

After you have selected the format, click the Add to Basket icon.

Now the design is in your basket. Keep repeating those steps until you have all the designs that you want.

When you have finished adding the designs that you'd like to buy to your shopping basket, and are ready to check out of the site, review the items in your basket. Make sure that they're in the right sizes, and the right formats, too. If you have a gift certificate or discount code, enter it in the box at the bottom of the page, and click the 'apply code' button.

If you don't have a code, then click either the "Check out" or "PayPal" button.

Enter your credit card information, and click the 'accept charges' button!

If your order was approved, you'll be automatically brought to your order history, where the designs can be downloaded. The order history page looks like this:

and it's filled with helpful links. You can get a printable receipt, download the entire order with a one-click download zipped file, change formats, access color change sheets, review prices and discounts -- a wealth of information!

You'll see three columns of buttons. One column is labeled "Color Sheet," and use the buttons in this column to view or download (PDF file) the color change sheet. The next column is labeled "Download Product," and use the buttons in this column if you want to download from the website. The last column of buttons is labeled "Email Product," and use the buttons in this column if you want the designs delivered via email.

If you haven't downloaded before, please take a look at these excellent downloading instructions. And, you can download any designs that are in your order history over and over again until you become comfortable with the process.

As well as providing tens of thousands of top-quality designs to embroiderers around the world, we strive to be an educational and inspirational resource for stitchers, too. You'll find hundred of free projects at our sister site, EmbroideryLibraryProjects.com,
as well as how-to videos, tutorials, articles about stitching on different fabrics, fabric and stabilizer matching guides, placement charts -- hundreds of helpful hints and tutorials to help make your stitching more fun and rewarding.

Visit emblibrary.com every Wednesday and click the New This Week tab to find dozens of new designs, keeping you up to date on current (and even fashion-forward!) trends. And, make the Sale page a favorite place to stop to see the latest and greatest ways to save.

Embroidery Library is 100% employee owned. All of the designs that you see on the website were made by Embroidery Library artists and digitizers, in Minnesota. Our digitizing and designing techniques have been passed down through generations of embroiderers and digitizers, bringing you the best designs you can find, anywhere.
