Recently we made an exciting change to the shopping basket. If you have a gift certificate code AND a discount code, you can use both on one order!

If you're not sure what the difference is between a discount code and a gift certificate code, here's a brief explanation: A gift certificate code is a code that you may have received as a gift from someone, or as a prize for winning one of our excellent contests. A gift certificate will be a string of random characters and (usually) begin with the letters GC or CS.

A discount code is one that we send out from time to time to give a percentage off or dollar amount off an order.

If you have a discount code and a gift certificate code, you can now use both codes on your order. Here's how you can do it:

Type a code into the box at the bottom of the shopping basket page. Click the 'Apply Code' button.

You'll see the code applied to your basket.

Enter the second code into the same box at the bottom of the shopping basket page. Click the 'Apply Code' button again.

You'll see the second code applied to your basket. You can remove either code at anytime by clicking the 'Remove Code' button.

When you're ready to process your order, click the 'Check out' button, check out of the site, and download the designs.

Please be sure to check the amount due, and that it meets your expectations, before completing your order. If you have any questions, send an email to stitch@emblibrary.com before finalizing your order.

Currently you can enter one gift certificate code and one discount code per order. If you have more than one gift certificate code that you'd like to use, we'll process those for you manually. Send an email to stitch@emblibrary.com. In that email, include the following information:

**The total of the items in your shopping basket
**The total that you expect to pay after the codes are applied
**The codes that you would like to use

We'll check your basket and your codes and either process the order for you, or let you know how to proceed.

Because we're now drawing a distinction between a "gift certificate code" and a "discount code," we'll be sure to clearly identify each code when it's mailed to you. While you can pair a gift certificate code and a discount code, multiple discount codes cannot be used on one order.
