My credit card was not
accepted!

At Embroidery Library, we take your privacy
and security very seriously. In October 2009 we changed credit card
processors and implemented new safeguards to add an extra layer of
protection for you.
One of the new safeguards that we added is called "address
verification," and that means that your name and address in your
user
profile at
www.emblibrary.com must match the information for the credit card
that you are using. If it doesn't, the charge will be declined, and
you'll receive an error message asking you to check the information in
your user profile.
Take a moment now to review your
user profile -- click the "My Profile"
link on the lower left side of
www.emblibrary.com. Is your address and name current -- does the
street address, city, state, zip code, all match what your credit card
company has on file for you? Then everything should work just fine. If
it doesn't, let us know -- send an email to
stitch@emblibrary.com, and tell us that you already verified the
address information in your user profile.
Some credit card companies will "temporarily" approve a charge, even if
your order didn't go through, and that charge will show as "pending" on
your statement. If you've tried to place an order, and the card was
declined/rejected, but you see "pending" charges on your credit card
statement, don't be alarmed. Those will be deleted after a day or two,
when your credit card company ultimately rejects the charge.
We understand that this may be frustrating, but please note that we made
this change to make things better for you -- safer, and more secure. |
