Which format should I choose?

If you're not sure which format your machine uses, check with your machine dealer, or your user's manual to find the best format for your machine. You can also download the designs from the Free Designs page and test them in your machine to see which works best.

Below is a partial (and growing!) list of machine makes and models, and the formats that we recommend.

Special note for Bernina Artista users: The Embroidery Library offers two versions of ART -- versions 3 and 4. The difference between the versions is time; ART 4 is a more recent version than ART 3. If you need to know which version to choose, you are welcome to download both versions from the Free Designs page to see which works best with your machine.
