Dog-tastic Calendar





 
Keri created this fun corkboard and calendar for her daughter to celebrate the new addition to the daughter's family - a puppy named Ruger.

Keri gives some insight into her project: "Both pieces are done using the base of a 12x12 blank scrapbook frame. I sprayed both frames black and added hangers to the back side before placing the two embroidered pieces in them. This set was VERY simple to make but makes a big statement in my daughters new kitchen!"

She used tack spray, temp spray and cut-away stabilizer to embroider on the cork and used temp spray and glazier points to help make the calendar portion stay in place.

This is a truly adorable and playful addition to any room, and practical, too! Thanks for sharing, Keri!
