Tote Bag for a Young Mother

Giving a plain (well, pink), ready-made canvas bag extra zing made it a special birthday gift from Rhonda to her daughter, who was about to turn 21. "She never carries around a purse or anything, but when she saw this design, she asked me to put it on the pink canvas bag I just bought, and she said she knew just what fabric I had in my stash to put with it."

With splendid teamwork! They can be rightly proud of their work on this snazzy and practical tote!

"We took that fabric and lined the inside and put pockets there for her to hold her babies' bottles and diapers," Rhonda said. "This is the first bag I have ever made, and it was so fun to see the design sew out on my Brother ULT 2002D and to finally see the finished result."
