Forest Friends Quilt 

When Wanda B. quilts, she turns it into a family affair. "This quilt was the first group effort of my mom, my sister, and myself," she said. "We went to the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show three years ago and came home so inspired. This is the result of that excitement."

The family "quilting bee" calls this quilt �Forest Critters.� It's outstanding fun, with enough quirky characters and wilderness scenes to delight youngsters and nature lovers alike.

Wanda says that together they have made more than 20 quilts and "use embroidery in quite a few of the details on them." Wanda embroiders on a Janome 11000.

Some of the embroidered designs they used in this quilt are the Fly Fishing Border, the Squirrel - Got Seed? design, and animals from the Northwoods Noah's Ark pack. Scamper down the page to see them.
