Nutcracker Christmas

"Here in Indy, we are Colts and Pacer fans, so the colors were changed to try and match their uniforms," Margaret wrote. "Just about all the designs I used have a connection with my friend, PZ, or myself."

The nutcrackers are intricately coordinated, and her fabric choice is perfectly planned down to the last piece. "I used nine different Christmas fabrics for the sashing around each design," she wrote. "Eight around the designs and the ninth so that no two fabric patterns would touch and nutcracker material for the backing."

It's wonderful keepsake, and this exquisite quilt is certain to be treasured for many Christmases to come.
