IP Address
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to
administer our Web site. We run reports that tell us how many visitors
come to our store by hour of the day and days of the week. The
information gathered also gives us a good idea of what browsers are used and
which sites people are coming from.
There is no personal information (such as name, address or email address)
logged that links any particular person to any particular IP address. All
the data collected is used by us solely for the purpose of improving our store
and is not shared with, or sold to anyone.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep track how customers use the store so that we can
make improvements. These cookies are automatically removed from your
computer when you sign off your browser. If your browser is set to not
accept cookies you may still browse through the store's categories, design
pages, and use the shopping Basket and check out normally.
The site does use persistent cookies for your login information. Usage of
these persistant cookies are tied to personally identifiable information. If
you allow persistent cookies in your browser you will automatically be logged
into the store each time you visit.
Third Party Cookies
A session cookie from Verisign (www.verisign.com
)(the issuer of our security certificate) is used on pages that display the
Verisign seal of authenticity. The cookie does not collect any
information and is simply to aid in displaying Emblibrary's validation page on
Verisign's site when users choose to click on the seal.
Registration
Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (such
as their name and email address and password).
The registration form also collects your address and phone number. This
information is completely optional and is used to populate the billing address
in the Purchase form.
The customer's contact information is used to contact the customer if
necessary.
Reasons for email originating from the Embroidery Library include; issues with
an order that the customer has placed and updates to our privacy statement that
include any changes with how we use your information.
We do not send out any junk email.
Emails are sent on occasion with updates about the Embroidery Library.

Occasionally the Embroidery Library sponsors contests held by other sites.
The Embroidery Library does not ask for any additional information to enter a
contest. If you are asked for any information please be aware that this

Orders
Our site uses an order form for customers to request products. We collect
visitor's billing and financial information (such as their account or credit
card numbers). Financial information that is collected is used only to bill the
user for products and services. This information is used only for that
purpose and is never shared with any other person or company. We
do use a third party (Verisign)
to process credit cards.
We don't store credit card information for any use other than processing the
credit card transactions.
If a customer purchases a gift certificate through our site, we will ask
customers for the name and email address of the intended recipient. This
information is used to send an email to the recipient of the certificate
notifying them of the gift.
Our store maintains a list of receipts or Order History for each
customer. This information is accessible by logging in to the store and
then clicking on the Order History link located in the right margin of the
Lobby page or at the top of your Basket page.
This information is for your convenience. It is not available to anyone
else.
Your credit card information is not stored in your Order History.
Newsletter
The Embroidery Library sends out newsletters to customers.
If you wish to unsubscribe from this newsletter please email us at
deb@emblibrary.com or reply to a newsletter with 'Remove' as the
subject.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and
alteration of the information under our control. We use a 128 bit encryption
security certificate provided by Verisign.
There is a seal of authenticity available on our Lobby page and the Purchase
page where you can see full details about the security certificate.Correct/Update
This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying
information previously provided.

If we ever make material changes to the way we handle your personal information
you will be contacted by email in advance. At that time if you wish to
remove any information that is stored with us you may do so. The opt-out
instructions will be in the posted changes notice.
