When you download a photo frame design you'll find three files. Two of the files end with "_DL" -- that stands for "dieline."

If you have embroidery software, open the dielines (one at a time) and print them. You'll use these a little later to cut the fabric and interfacing for the frame.

If you don't have embroidery software, then hoop a piece of paper.

Load one of the dielines into your machine, and sew it onto the paper.

Repeat this for the second dieline.

Cut the dieline shape from the fabric and stabilizer. Cut around the outside and the inside of the frame.

Now we'll make a piece for the back of the frame using a piece of medium-weight interfacing, and the back piece dieline template.

Place the back piece dieline template on top of the interfacing, and cut around the outside of the shape.
