Stuffed Bear Ornament
Supplies needed: |
Instructions: |
Sew out front and back designs on fabric of
your choice. We used brown felt with
a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer.
Using a template, trace a circle around the
designs.

Cut out the circles and trim away excess
stabilizer from the edges. |
Stack the pieces, wrong sides together, and
stitch around the edge. We used a blanket
stitch. Make sure that the designs are
oriented correctly to each other and both
the design tops are in the same place.
Stop stitching about 3/4 of the way around and
your needle in the down position. This
will hold your spot in the stitching and
allow you to insert the stuffing into the
ornament.
Stuff the ornament. |
Continue stitching the remaining open area. |
Thread a hand sewing needle with metallic
thread and pull the thread through the top
of the ornament for the hanger. Tie ends
together.
Add embellishment, like ribbon, sequins, or
beads if desired.
