Instructions:
Print out pattern
piece and cut it out.
Trace pattern piece onto the fabric, and
embroider the designs onto the fabric
according to the placement dots. Use a
medium- or heavy-weight, cut-away stabilizer. After embroidering is finished, cut out both
the fabric and stabilizer on the pattern
lines. Don't remove the stabilizer. It
will be needed to keep the shade firm. |
|
 |
|
Use a little bit of
spray adhesive on the back of the
embroidered piece, and adhere it to a
piece of tear-away stabilizer that is
slightly larger than the pattern piece.
Satin stitch around the
perimeter of the piece to finish the edge. |
|
 |
|
Tear away the excess stabilizer. |
|
 |
|
Meet the ends around your
wine glass and glue
together with a hot glue gun. Make
sure that the top edge is just below the rim
of the wine glass so that the candle flame
can't catch the fabric on fire. |
