The designs featured in this tutorial include:
- M12244, Benji Bunny Face (Smiling)

Special Notes:
When choosing faux fur fabric, pick a fabric with shorter fur. The fur used in this tutorial is about 1/2" in length. Longer furs might cause the embroidery to sink too far into the fabric.

Finished Sizes:
Extra Large: 12 3/4" x 22 3/4"
Large: 11" x 19 3/4"
Medium: 8 3/4" x 15 1/2"
Small: 5 1/2" x 10 1/4"

To get started, choose which size bunny you'd like to make and print the
PDF of the pattern pieces (there are different patterns for each of the sizes: extra large, large, medium, small). For each size, there are seven pattern pieces that will print on seven pieces of 8 1/2" x 11" paper.

The seven pattern pieces are the following:
- Four pieces for the body
- One piece for the ears
- One piece for the inner ears
- One piece for the belly

Cut out the pattern pieces of the body portion and tape them together.

Then, cut out the other pattern pieces.

A template, or printout of a design, is an excellent tool to help with placement.

Print a template of the design from your embroidery software.
If you do not have embroidery software, Wilcom's TrueSizer is
a free program to use.

Center
the template inside the head section as shown.

Mark the center point and horizontal and vertical axis lines.

Remove the template. Place the faux fur fabric on top of one piece of cutaway stabilizer, and add a piece of heavy-weight water-soluble stabilizer as a topping.

This tutorial uses Sulky Ultra Solvy. This topping will keep the embroidery from sinking into the faux fur fabric.

Hoop all the layers together, aligning the marks on the hoop with the marks on the fabric.
